Eligibility

Miss America requires candidates to be between 18 and 28 years old — no older than 28 on September 30, 2026, and no younger than 18 on September 1, 2026. For Miss America’s Teen, the age window is 14 to 18 — no younger than 14 by September 1, 2026, and no older than 18 on September 30, 2026. Along with the age requirements, you need to either live full-time in Wisconsin, work full-time in person here, or be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited school or college in the state. Both the Miss and Teen Milwaukee competitions are open.

An Additional Note for 18-Year-Old Delegates

If you’re 18, you’ll have what’s called a “pivot” year, which means you can decide whether to compete in the Teen or Miss division. Once you make your choice, you’ll stay in that division until the next cycle. This flexibility gives you time to figure out what feels like the best fit.​​​

Once you have filled out the delegate interest form below, our team will email you more information and the password to our delegate portal. That is where you will submit paperwork to become an official 2026 Miss Milwaukee Delegate!
