ABOUT THE MISS MILWAUKEE
SCHOLARSHIP ORGANIZATION
Founded in 1924, the Miss Milwaukee Scholarship Organization has stood for more than a century as a place where young women grow as leaders, earn scholarships, and serve their communities.
From the very beginning, Miss Milwaukee has shaped history. The very first Miss Wisconsin, Clara Ethel Koehler, was a Miss Milwaukee who went on to place as a semi-finalist at Miss America. That moment launched a legacy that continues today.
As part of the Miss America system, Miss Milwaukee serves as a local competition for both Miss and Teen candidates. Each year, delegates compete in a private interview, talent, evening gown, fitness, and on-stage question. Every titleholder also leads a Community Service Initiative (CSI) and supports national service partnerships such as the American Heart Association. Winners advance to Miss Wisconsin and Miss Wisconsin’s Teen, carrying with them Milwaukee’s legacy and spirit.
But Miss Milwaukee is more than a competition. It is a community. Our organization provides opportunities for young women to earn scholarships, develop leadership skills, and connect with mentors. We are powered by volunteers, supported by sponsors, and strengthened by our growing alumni association of former titleholders and contestants who continue to lead in their families, careers, and communities.

OUR MISSION
The Miss Milwaukee Scholarship Organization exists to empower young women through scholarship, leadership, and service while connecting them to opportunities within the Miss America system and their local community.
OUR VISION
We envision a future where every woman has the chance to use her voice, pursue her goals, and inspire others. By building on more than a century of tradition, we aim to grow a program that celebrates achievement, fosters confidence, and creates a lasting legacy of community leaders.

GABRIELLA SULIGA
Director of Marketing
Gabriella Suliga’s journey with the Miss MKE organization began when she was crowned Miss Milwaukee 2019, and from that first experience she knew she had found a community she cared deeply about. She’s proud to give back as Director of Marketing, using the skills she’s built running her own digital marketing agency. When she’s not behind a laptop, you can usually find Gabriella lifting at the gym, planting in her garden, trying (and sometimes failing) to bake sourdough bread, or ballroom dancing. Her favorite title, though, is dog mom to her rescue pup Harley (named after Harley Davidson!), who makes sure there’s never a dull moment at home.
